We believe everyone who is part of this crazy business deserves a fair shot. Sadly, there’s a lot of under representation in a very male dominated industry. Training, mentoring, and access programs are available for women, minorities, and the LBGTQ+ community. This includes live and studio environments.

Yes, it seems kinda odd as a business we’re really open to the idea of other people and places getting involved in a project. When I was an apprentice learning the trade at a commercial studio some 35 odd years ago, swapping in engineers, or at least seeking their advice, was common. Any idea to help a session was welcome and put under consideration. The owners fully deserved credit for the shiny discs on the walls and the Juno at the door yet they always said it took an entire community to get them there. Nowadays there are far more mix options than recording spaces, yet a great mix always starts with a solid recording. If it’s us at the helm, a name engineer in Nashville, or some of the amazing talent this city has to offer, we’re here for the critical first steps. The goal was and always has been to get the best out of a song
